At a Loss. Leaving. By T.W. Snicket

Comments Off on At a Loss. Leaving. By T.W. Snicket 22 August 2020

I wrote this for a friend

To convey my way

To show

Desire and Deficiency

My Heart

Stuck between beats

Waiting to Pump

What it feels like to move

To show affection

To Understand

I was the prodigy

Letting everyone down

Missing the mark as the years

No Milk in my coffee
No Sugar in my tea

I feel like a stone in a crack
that cannot seal

As the road breaks apart with each season

The Audience

We are left with

Unoriginal hair cuts

A Greyhound bus departs soon

I was stuck in a silo
but I work better
on a team

Talking through
an issue

Finding results

Picture this memory by T.W. Snicket

Comments Off on Picture this memory by T.W. Snicket 30 June 2019

Pictures are my only

I only remember pictures

There was this birthday
I had when I was 12 – 13
where I Puked and everyone
went home. They all left

I remember that

Everything other memory
is a picture

Stuck in my mind

I know there are studies
about this

They must be right because

All of My Memories

Are Pictures

From My Life

It must be Tender Times by T.W. Snicket

Swipe right
Love me tonight
Leave in the morning

Wondering what our
story was

This is your place

I am 37

Do you want me to grab some
breakfast sandwiches

As I walk into the street
to grab breakfast
half of me is saying
don’t go back
eat your sandy
go home and
wonder what her name is

I am fuzzy
and I think I remember
liking her

I am bring ing the
breakfast back
asking her right away
if she knows my name
then when she gets my name right

Inevitable asking me
What’s my name
I say Jen with confidence
She says “What”
My name is not Jen
Is your friend Jen
Ya her name was Jen
You idiot
My name is Regina

You know I was fucking with you
I told you last night
I hate Kennedy Carpet Cleaner

I am a Regina Steamer guy
Burrito Time

I already ate my SECOND
Can I use your bathroom

What a great morning

Trying to be me

Wondering what do you See

Fun Detectors by T.W. Snicket

Comments Off on Fun Detectors by T.W. Snicket 29 June 2019

Fun Police

Fun Detectors seem to be moving

closer and closer
shaping who I can be
I hear the beeps

I want to me
me who the fuck
I want to me

And then something horrible happens in our world
And we have to question

What can we give up
Who can we give into
to Make someone else feel safe

It is a fair question
But their cant be answers

No one is safe.

The moment you enter this world

You. Yes You.

[Before you read this next part
I want you to say these
words aloud
and do not move forward
until you can dance like
no one is watching
You say:
I am an Instrument
I am a Dream]

No surveillance is going to help
Welcome to the danger

Like a fingerprint at
a crime scene
Like a battery
Wondering its place

We Find out that we are all guilty

No More Hiding
No More Hiding
No More Hiding

the Search is over

We all Won the show

And we all lost

Here is your Prize

I never Ryhme but by T.W. Snicket

Comments Off on I never Ryhme but by T.W. Snicket 29 December 2018

T.W. Snicket Not Rhyme
What am I doing

Am I getting life wrong

Living like I am

Magic seems to only happen in songs

Seeing faces of confusion

Wondering what happened to me

Weirdly forced to figure out
who and what I am supposed to be

But really who are you
and where should you be

I need to create
of today
of life

I see some
who can completely contradict
who have the ability
to forget why
they loved us
or themselves

I have never been just me

There has just been too much

The 30’s have been strange
At this point
I am not going to
Not miss opportunities

Weather dictates tomorrow

I know how to have fun
How to live in the moment

Finding smiles all around me

laughter and stories
The sharp eyed focus during the day

How in the hell can I just keep it
this way forever

Wednesday Poem of the Week – My only advice for your trip – Wipes by T.W. Snicket

Comments Off on Wednesday Poem of the Week – My only advice for your trip – Wipes by T.W. Snicket 22 November 2018

Enclosed my friend

are the Cleansing wipes

that have

given me that simple moment of

relief and

Possibly saved

my life

Please Note:

These wipes are not

as biodegradable

as I wish

And by no means

Can be flushed

As environmental friendly

as we both are

as much as we both

try to keep a small

These wipes

do stop the itch

from a rhoid

And are a necessary

So Stay focused

Remember our first lesson

Stay on course

When needed. Wipe

Put in the hold bucket

And Seal

Stay on course

As always

Try not to push

Put my dog down and Fired
By T.W. Snicket

How do I even keep walking?

Oh shit

Was I in an accident?

— Sir can you hear me

Yes I hear you

—Does anyone know his name?

— Sir can you hear me. Look at me sir. Here

Fuck ya I see you. Stop yelling

— He is not responding. Do not let him look down

— Hold his head down. Apply the tourniquet

Where are My legs

— The ambulance is on its way

Can they not hear me? Hey. You.  Shithead

I am not speaking

Something is not

— Sir stay with us. You are going to make it

Man does today suck

old couch

How old are the
Pens and Pencils
we use
the ones
we toss

What can we ask
friends who
do not understand
the questions
we wonder about

The middle of
my couch is
caved in

It is going to bother
more and more

maybe Friday or
the Friday after that
I will
buy a new couch
with no money down
