Making an Accent by T. W. Snicket

Upside down
hanging from a tree branch
It was not my intention to be upside down
When I firtst started on this journey
This accent made by so many of our
ancestors

Yet now
unlike my ancestors
There will be no graceful dismount
but
I am mentally prepared for the drop

The ground is soft
although something is still not right

Please note
Climbing a tree will not
although sometimes I still believe will
clear your head
