Wednesday Poem of the Week: Nothing to Save and The White Horse by D. H. Lawrence

0 Comments 06 February 2013

Nothing to Save

There is nothing to save, now all is lost,
but a tiny core of stillness in the heart
like the eye of a violet.

by D. H. Lawrence

The White Horse

The youth walks up to the white horse, to put its halter on
and the horse looks at him in silence.
They are so silent, they are in another world.
