Wednesday Poem of the Week – Cat Syndrome by T.W. Snicket

0 Comments 14 September 2011

Cat Syndrome

Its math and science
Shaved heads, books, and farm equipment
The sources of Information keep tight-lipped during periods of unrest
We scramble to hold onto our books
We scramble to hold up and hide on our island

Nights grow shorter
Meetings underground
Goons, Mindless Goons don’t worry us
Traitors do
Can’t believe they are around every corner
Won’t be able to move
Paralysis is the end
Move, keep moving

We need a new plan
New names, New identification
This will be the last time I see you
Live life
Die trying
This is not the end
There are more
They will help
