Folks,
Today’s DPD comes direct from across the pond and has one of stranger endings I’ve seen in quite awhile.
DJ Mehdi grew up in the very ethnic burrow of northeast Paris – home to many north African emigrants. Mehdi himself was of Tunisian descent. The French music scene had a burgeoning electronic and hip-hop movements starting in the mid-late 90s which fused together through bands like Daft Punk. Mehdi was at the forefront of this movement and capitalized accordingly. Sadly, due to a freak sky light accident, the world won’t be able to continue to follow Mehdi’s trajectory of creativity. Luckily his work is well documented and I suggest you take some time to explore.
Viola!
